Jessica Hatton | MA | LCMHCS | THTC Jessica is a North Carolina native and a graduate of Appalachian State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Sociology in 2006 and met her husband, Adam. Together, they have three children. After relocating to Texas, she completed a Master of Arts in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2009. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor (LCMHCS) in North Carolina and holds a TeleMental Health Training Certificate (THTC) from the Telehealth Certification Institute, LLC. Jessica is also a member of the Christian Association for Psychological Studies (CAPS), reflecting her commitment to integrating faith and clinical practice. Professional Experience Jessica’s clinical journey began during her graduate internship with ReEngage, a ministry developed by Watermark Community Church focused on strengthening and restoring marriages at all stages. After returning to North Carolina, she joined Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, where she provided end-of-life counseling for patients as well as grief support for families and the community. She later joined Cornerstone Counseling Center in Hickory, NC, where her focus shifted to supporting women, teens, and young adults. In addition to individual counseling, she offered neurofeedback services and conducted assessments for children entering kindergarten. Since 2015, Jessica has been affiliated with Family Life Coach in Asheville, NC, which transitioned to Summit Wellness Centers in 2018. In 2020, she took the next step in her professional journey by founding her own private practice. In addition to her clinical work, Jessica serves as an adjunct professor of counseling at Carolina Christian College. She also provides supervision for emerging professionals entering the field of clinical mental health counseling. Personal Note As a ministry wife and working mother, Jessica understands the challenges of balancing life's many demands. Her passion is offering hope and healing to those in need.
